Mesozo Soprano Kim Bohae,
with exceptional vocal and acting abilities,
delivers both awe and admiration simultaneously.
She graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland,
majoring in Music (scholarship recipient) and Opera (full scholarship recipient).
In 2009, she was highly commended (2nd place) in the Yates Chronis Opera Competition,
and in 2013, she earned 2nd place overall in the Yangsuwha Vocal Competition,
solidifying her talent. Particularly noteworthy was her portrayal of the character
'The Composer' in Strauss's opera "Ariadne auf Naxos,"
which earned her recognition in "Herald Scotland," marking her
as a rising star in the next generation of opera.
Commencing with collaborations with the British Royal Orchestra,
she hosted a total of three solo recitals throughout the UK,
fostering successful encounters with British audiences through numerous concert appearances.
Subsequently, her performances with opera companies
such as Operanoth, British Youth Opera,
and Humanitas Culture in the UK received critical acclaim.
Upon her return to Korea, she debuted on the domestic stage as the title role
in Rossini's opera "La Cenerentola" after passing
the public audition at the Daejeon Culture and Arts Center.
Thereafter, she collaborated with prestigious domestic opera companies
such as the National Opera Company and the Seoul Opera Company,
showcasing her irreplaceable charm in works such as
"Cinderella," "Carmen," "Orfeo ed Euridice," "The Marriage of Figaro,"
"La Traviata," "Rigoletto," "Madama Butterfly," and "Orpheus."
She demonstrated strength in original opera as well, receiving
acclaim for her portrayal of the protagonist 'Gollum' in Seoul Opera Company's "The Garden Killer"
and as the foreign entomologist 'Emilia' in the modern vocal ensemble
"Ants in the Desert," delivering distinctive singing and acting.
Furthermore, she has been recognized as a soloist in various concert settings,
including religious music, performing with prestigious choirs
such as the Seoul Philharmonic Choir and the Cheongju Municipal Choir,
as well as collaborating with renowned orchestras such as the Seongnam Philharmonic Orchestra,
Gangneung Philharmonic Orchestra, and Chuncheon Philharmonic Orchestra.
Currently, she nurtures future talent as a visiting professor
in the International Department of Chugye University of Arts,
while concurrently serving as the music director
of the international opera company "Sori,"
actively engaging as a versatile professional artist across various fields.

I find myself suddenly seeing her.

메조 소프라노 김보혜
빼어난 가창력과 연기력으로 감동과 감탄을 동시에 선사하는
메조 소프라노 김보혜는 영국 스코틀랜드 왕립음악원 음악과(장학생)와
오페라과(전액 장학생)를 졸업하였다.
2009년 예 크로니스 오페라 컴퍼티션 Highly commended(2위),
2013년 양수화 성악 콩쿠르 전체 2위를 차지했다.
특히 슈트라우스의 오페라 낙소스의 아리아드네 ‘젊은 작곡가’ 역에서
완벽한 캐릭터와의 일체로 ‘헤럴드 스코틀랜드’에 기재되며
차세대 오페라 유망주로 주목 받았다.
영국 스코틀랜드 왕립 오케스트라와의 협연을 시작으로 영국 전역에서
총 3회의 독창회를 개최하였으며, 다수의 콘서트 출연으로 영국 관객들과의
성공적인 만남을 이끌어낸다.
이후 오페라노쓰, 브리티쉬유스 오페라, 휴머니타스 컬쳐 등
영국 오페라 전문 회사들과의 공연으로 호평 받았다.
귀국 후 대전 문화예술의 전당 공개 오디션에 합격하여,
로시니의 오페라 ‘체네렌톨라’의 타이틀 롤로 국내 무대에 데뷔하였다.
그 후 국립오페라단, 서울시 오페라단을 비롯한 국내 유수 오페라단들과 작업하며,
오페라 신데렐라, 카르멘, 오르페오와 에우리디체, 피가로의 결혼, 라 트라비아타,
리골레토, 나비부인, 오르페오 등과 같은 작품에서 대체불가의 매력을 선보였다.
창작 오페라에서도 강점을 보여, 서울시 오페라단의 ‘텃밭킬러’에서
주인공 ‘골룸’역, 현대 성악 앙상블 제작 사막속의 흰개미에서
외국인 곤충학자 ‘에밀리아’역을 맡아 개성있는 노래와 연기로 호평을 받았다.
또한 종교 음악을 비롯한 다양한 콘서트 솔리스트로도 인정을 받아,
서울시 합창단, 청주 시립 합창단 등 유수 합창단들과 공연하였으며,
성남시향, 강릉시향, 춘천시향 등 국내 유수 오케스트라들과 협연하였다.
현재, 추계 예술대학 국제 학부 외래교수로 후학을 양성하며,
사단법인 소리로 국제 오페라단 음악 감독으로 재직하는 동시에
다양한 분야에서 전문 예술인으로 왕성하게 활동하고 있다.
Soprano mesozo Kim Bohae, con eccezionali capacità vocali e recitative, trasmette stupore e ammirazione allo stesso tempo. Si è diplomata al Conservatorio Reale di Scozia, laureandosi in Musica (borsista) e Opera (borsa intera). Nel 2009, è stata molto lodata (2° posto) al Concorso lirico Yates Chronis e nel 2013 ha ottenuto il 2° posto assoluto al Concorso vocale di Yangsuwha, consolidando il suo talento. Particolarmente degna di nota è stata la sua interpretazione del personaggio "Il Compositore" nell'opera di Strauss "Ariadne auf Naxos", che le è valsa il riconoscimento in "Herald Scotland", rendendola una stella nascente nella prossima generazione di opera. A partire dalle collaborazioni con la British Royal Orchestra, ha ospitato un totale di tre recital da solista in tutto il Regno Unito, promuovendo incontri di successo con il pubblico britannico attraverso numerose apparizioni in concerti.
