Hello, Everyone!
I am violinist Keunha Yer. Today I am pleased to present to you an Digital album of performances by Ensemble YERM. First of all let, let me introduce myself. I am a musician with a great interest in the environment and history, and I have been playing the violin since I was 4. I studied at school of music in Korea, Germany, and the United States, and have performed meaningful performances in Many countries around the world with many famous performance groups in Korea and abroad.
As a violinist, I mean classical musician, I have always loved and performed the songs of authentic classical composers such as Beethoven and Brahms, but I have been thinking all my life about how to create and record songs that the audience can only hear in Keunha Yer’s albums through my own albums. Through my albums, I created to introduce songs that reflect the unique history of Korea. My ethnic roots and my artistic source is the history of the land I belong to. I'm very fortunate that the composers who wrote for me are becoming famous all over the world.
I've also always been very interested in current environmental, planetary and women's issues. I perform while wearing a dress made of rPET -recycled plastic bottles, and I play many songs containing Korean history while campaigning for the environment. I am preparing a song and album titled Love Affair within the next several years about love and passion in middle age, looking back on life in the middle of life, and I plan to perform and record many more original songs in the future as opportunities arise.

I'm pleased to introduce you to Ensemble YerM's most recent digital album, Into The TIME COBWEB. Ensemble YerM is an organization that I founded in 2018. Together with my beloved fellow musicians, we have performed the world premieres of many Korean composers.

Into the TIME COBWEB, performed by Ensemble YerM, is an arrangement of key pieces from the OPERA TIME COBWEB for chamber music. I arranged and produced it myself for my favorite ensemble players.
Ensemble YerM leader violinist Keunha YER:
This new opera tells the story of Lieutenant Zuber, a French naval officer who invades Korea in 1866, and his love affair with a woman from the reclusive country of Korea.
Producer & Composer Jieun LEE :
The love story between a war soldier and a woman is a sad and brutal real-life history, but it also speaks to the eternal human theme of love.
Ensemble YerM leader violinist Keunha YER :
Serenade on the Yellow Sea is recorded on our album in both solo piano and quintet versions. It was sung by French soldiers wandering aimlessly in the Yellow Sea, the name of the sea west of Korea, longing for home after a war that left them scarred. The French composer Saint-Saëns' swan-inspired White wings, timw wave, the overture to the opera, was arranged for ensemble but produced to sound like operatic music. Our album, which has seven songs in total, is actually the first opera music by composer Ji Eun Lee that we recorded. It is our music that can only be heard on Ensemble YerM's album.
Today I am pleased to introduce you to Ensemble YerM's album INTO THE TIME COBWEB, an album of music about love stories blooming throughout history, and I ask for your continued interest and support in the music we play and record. As a classical musician of this era, I am happy to leave behind a beautiful album, and my sincerity in wanting it to be loved by a wide audience cannot be faked.

대본, 작사 김재청 작곡, 편곡 이지은의 2021년 한국문화예술위원회 오페라 부문
창작 산실 선정 작품인 오페라 시간 거미줄의 연주 앨범이다.
앙상블 여음, 바이올린 여근하, 김주은 등 오랜 예술 동료들의 호흡으로 연주되었다.
장막극 그랜드 오페라로 작곡된 작곡가 이지은 특유의 감성적인 음악들이
실내악 버전으로 편곡되었다. 바이올린 연주자 여근하가 이끄는 앙상블 여음이
오페라 음악에 담긴 격정적이고 슬픈 사랑이야기를 호소력있게 담아냈다.
